make changes with wood

0 opinions
There are a lot of things that you can do with wood, it looks beautiful when it's raw and gets to shine, but it also works great as a texture, painted on or using the lines in wood as inspiration.

Like here, this pallet is used to make a wonderful texture on the picture, I love this idea, print a big picture and cut it down to fit on the pallet, it's different and can work in almost any room, a romantic headboard maybe ?

Now, I see this picture a lot, it's all over the internet, and honestly, it deserves to be, this is a wonderful, romantic and cozy idea. And for a person with medium skills with a hammer, this is a do-able project, I'd use a different wood, I see a romantic a bit darker wood, but not to dark either, I don't think that would look good, but I'd definitely not use this light because I prefer it darker.
Don't do this alone if you aren't good with a hammer, I'd recommend talking to a contractor, because if you're going to raise your floor like this, or dig down depending on the room, is going to be a lot of work, but it's going to be worth it, just look at this room!
Old pallets used as a wall, this is just amazing, I love old wood, it's almost like it has character, like antique furniture do.
Now, tree limb coasters is something that I'm going to do soon, click here to see how it's done and the final outcome, it's amazing and I can't wait to do this myself.

I'll make a new one soon, it's late in Iceland and I'm a little tired.
Adios!

"This tall occasional table has a playful and off-kilter look that perks up any living space. Its uniquely shaped legs feature traditional ornate detail that has been deconstructed and redesigned in a contemporary form. Made from hand-turned ebonized beech wood, the table is created by Ayush Kasliwall"
I love this table and it's on sale on Fab.com

I am love bound on these armchairs by Di Marzio Design called Missix.
They are so simple, as the designer says "Missix's name comes from its unique heavy-rounded, number six shape. This small armchair looks compact and monolithic together, yet its sinuous and enveloping line shows its minimal nature, enhanced by a light and soft shape. The chair is made of rotational moulded polythene. This fully recyclable material makes Missix a robust, lightweight and handy chair, which is both easy to clean and impact and weather-resistant. Missix is suitable for both residential and contract environments, in both indoor and outdoor areas."

romantic interior ideas

If you have a beautiful handwriting, this is a great idea for a new screen for a lamp.
romantic and gorgeous.
I want this as a little reading nook now.

Use old books and magazines to make a nice cozy coffee table.
If you find an old antique table like this, even in a bad condition, can be made pretty by painting it or spraying it if there is a lot of details like on this one.
They have such personality.

Different decoration. Legos!

Have Legos from when you were younger ? If you don't have enough to make an whole island, you can but them under a glass plate like this ;
Or as your kids headboard. Or even yours, just spray the legos if you want different colors. It will make a lovely texture.
A lego Radiator by Marco.
Boxes to put under your bed, or have them on shelves as decoration, specially in kids rooms, they'll love it.
And you can of course stack them up as over-sized legos, how great is that for space saving!?
Let the kids play with their legos on the wall, great for encouraging imagination.
Lego inspired coffee table.

Melted Lego lamp ! That could be a fun project, just watch out for the fumes, I believe they are not healthy when melting plastic.

Staircase by Danny Kuo
This is the most sufficient way to keep a vertical storage. And I think it's gorgeous, I'd probably paint it a different color or get some fun stickers on it. But I believe the best solution is to get chalk paint on the front so you can write what's in the top, so you won't have to go all the way to the top to search.

Make space saving beautiful

Dinner for two by Alno
This is perfect for small apartments. The seats support 100kg and the table 22kg.
I bet someone will find a way to make a DIY inspired project. because I would if my kitchen interior could.
Customize your stairs to make extra space if you have a small apartment on maybe two floors, or else it there would a lot of space go to waste.

If I had that view, oh my I would want that bedroom. In the summer I would need curtains though, because here in Iceland the sun doesn't set for most part of the summer, I would never sleep.
I would want this even if I had a big house. Imagine how many shoes i could fit in there.
That is amazing, you can even put your computer under there when your not using it.
I've been in love with the Scoop from Saba Italia for a while now, it's both so elegant as a sofa, as much as a bed. There's something about round beds that I love.

wall decorations

Add a smile to your day, it's a wonderful way to decorate your home, in any color you want.
metal tree wall decoration, I can picture this in my living room.
Mirrors can make wonderful wall art, they brighten the room and makes it look bigger, and I think it's even more beautiful when they don't reflect a perfect image like this wall decoration, it makes the room pop.
If you're a minimalist person, with everything in the same color and need some color or personality in your room, stickers are it, they can even make the whole house come together if you have the same style stickers in different rooms of the house. Or make each room special with individual sticker decoration in each room.

The graphic and colors of the stickers keep getting better and better. This website roommatespeelandstick is a wonderful way to start you off. They even have peel off and stick on mirrors, for those who have to redecorate every few weeks.
Many different styles and at only $10.49 I'd say that's pretty good.
